Exfoliating skincare is one of the cornerstones of a well-structured routine: it removes dead skin cells, evens out skin texture, and prepares the skin surface to better absorb subsequent products. It is not an optional step, but a moment of renewal that, if chosen carefully, makes a visible difference. How to choose the right exfoliating product for you

The first criterion is skin type: sensitive or reactive skin benefits from chemical exfoliants based on low-concentration acids, such as AHA or PHA, which work gradually without mechanical friction. A common mistake is to exfoliate too frequently: in most cases, two or three applications a week are sufficient. Equally important is to pair a good moisturizer after treatment and, during the day, adequate sun protection, as freshly exfoliated skin is more sensitive to UV rays. Also consider the format: gel, cream, powder, mask, or pre-soaked pads cater to different needs and usage habits.
