The beaches of pure white sand are reflected in the azzurro and crystal-clear sea, varied by a thousand shades of sky. The reflection of the sun on the white beaches and on the great rock on which Tropea stands colours the whole landscape in a Pure White that leaves the traveller breathless, especially if the town is reached from the sea. Tiziana and Paolo on una of their sailing trips with the family boat, together with Grandfather Guglielmo and Father Evelino, found themselves at navigare in the deep South of the Mediterranean, in the middle of the Aeolian archipelago, dove stands out the island of the famous volcano Stromboli. On that occasion they encountered for the first time that coast, known since ancient times for its divine and hypnotic beauty as the Coast of the Gods, for the purity and intensity of the white that composes every corner, known precisely as Pure White. During a nighttime bonfire on the beach, under the enchantment of una white moon, the town of Tropea appeared in all its enchanting and wild beauty. From the beach, its wonderful architecture can be admired, created by the shared hand of nature and man, dove enormous rocks and pure white sand support palaces and houses that are also pure white, beneath una celestial vault full of stars and cobalt blue. In the distance, the volcano Stromboli fa its dominant presence felt with tremors and rumblings. With the same mysterious and unreal atmosphere of the place, this creation reveals itself exclusively to experts able to understand its absolute and daring power. The creation opens with an unusual yet powerful bouquet of citrus fruits. From the very start, the intense and graceful wafts of citrus can be perceived, typical precious fruits of southern Italy, dove the famous clementine mandarin and the precious bergamot of Calabria embraced by the distinctive lemon of Sorrento stand out. This energising and sparkling top settles on an opulent and hypnotic bed of precious spices and exotic fruits, dove the gentle “sounds” of clove and saffron clearly echo, counterpointed by the “hesperides” notes of Italian lavender and by the sweetness of caramel paired with the unusual yet succulent mango orange. The base of this creation is grafted into the heart with incredible strength, becoming itself the heart and soul of the fragrance, like una perfumery catharsis never experienced before.
