Madame Grès's Journey to India Cabochard by Grès is an "Eau de Toilette" for women included in the aromatic citrus family. It is a perfume whose inspiration was born in India, during one of the trips of Madame Grès, the founder of the company. She was so fascinated by its landscapes and aromas that she decided to capture them in her new creation, and so Cabochard was born. This fragrance was launched in 1959 by perfumer Bernard Chant. It is an intense and revolutionary aroma in its time, as it includes among its notes, masculine aromas and practically unusual in the female field of perfumery. However, it reflects sophistication and elegance and depicts a woman escaping the ordinary to enter an unexplored world. Its olfactory pyramid combines and mixes hundreds of aromas from the eastern continent, spicy, fruity, aromatic and floral notes, combined with citrus fruits and even tobacco and leather. An unthinkable fusion that creates a unique, indescribable and unmistakable ending. Yesterday, today and forever. This perfume today responds to a more classic style, given its longevity. However, this is not a dusty floral classic, but rather a modernized classic. REFINEMENT. Although in its wake we can distinguish very virile notes, this perfume on women's skin becomes a true revelation of femininity and refinement. Woman with personality. Like the founder of the brand, this perfume describes a woman with personality and confidence. A profile that avoids the stereotypes imposed by society and wants to achieve its own stamp of identity with its fragrance.
