When the shoe tightens
Hallux valgus is the medical term that identifies the phenomenon of deviation of the big toe, a particularly painful situation, accompanied by a deformation, also painful, of the metatarsophalangeal joint. The big toe assumes an oblique position that causes it to overlap with the other toes. It is also not uncommon for chronic joint inflammation to coexist. This pathology particularly frequently affects women who have worn high-heeled shoes for several years.
The consequence: the inability to wear your favorite shoes. However, it is not only the pain that causes problems, but also the unsightly appearance resulting from the deformation. Often only surgery can solve the problem. But when the phenomenon is not yet at such an advanced stage, ValguLoc corrects the position of the big toe during the night and acts by counteracting further shortening of the ligament system.
No more pain, faster recovery
The big toe is housed in a softly padded shell and is pulled by a Velcro strap that thus exerts the corrective action. The intensity of the corrective action can be adjusted gradually and completely individually, based on the needs and sensitivity to pain. ValguLoc relieves pain and works by counteracting consequences such as joint wear or the assumption of incorrect postures also by the other toes.
ValguLoc is easy to put on and take off. It is recommended to use this orthosis even after surgery, to prevent the formation of scar tissue and to achieve the desired correction, so you can run without pain and wear your favorite shoes again.
