Byredo Rose Noir indeed tells the story of una a rose that, due to numerous adventures, has literally darkened its character. A bit like what happens after the first disappointments in love. The top notes, with grapefruit and freesia, provide an aura of purity and innocence. However, in the base, these very delicate notes are contrasted with 'hard and masculine' elements like oak moss and labdanum.
